Paris Catacombs - black and white photography, 5x7
$12.00
PARIS CATACOMBS.
Did you know there are the skeletal remains of 6 million people under the streets of Paris? When the cemeteries overflowed, the bones were carted to the abandoned salt mines below and stacked, sometimes ornately. The people who built Paris - the cathedrals, the churches, the avenues, and the history we are so familiar with, are all here, resting in peace side by side.
You can tour these catacombs, although there is no tour guide. You are left to wander alone through tall stacks of bones on either side, following a handful of tiny black arrows to guide the way. Don't take any wrong turns, or you'll find yourself a permanent resident.
This listing is for the 5x7" size unmatted print. Please see my other listings for an 8x10" option. This is a reproduction print on acid-free archival grade paper.
I ship this with an acid-free backing board in a plastic sleeve.
This framed piece will be sent via USPS, and I will ship anywhere. Please allow 3-5 business days for shipping preparation.
